Recently, another good news came to Shenkai Petroleum Technology that its testing center had successfully passed the audit of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and obtained the CNAS laboratory accreditation certificate, indicating that the center has internationally recognized testing capabilities and management level.

CNAS is a national accreditation body approved and authorized by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the P.R.C. to undertake the accreditation of certification bodies, laboratories and inspection agencies, standing as the most authoritative laboratory accreditation management organization in China. The national accreditation system for conformity assessment has been integrated into the international accreditation and recognition system and plays an important role there, with the test data issued by it carrying international authority.

Since submitting the application at the beginning of 2021, the testing center, according to the Accreditation Criteria for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories (CNAS-CL01:2018) and through more than a year of preparation, construction, operation, and monitoring, has completed the construction of the standard testing laboratory from five aspects, namely general requirements, structural requirements, resource requirements, process requirements, and management system requirements, and finally passed the review of the CNAS audit team, obtaining the CNAS laboratory accreditation certificate.

CNAS qualification is a stepping stone to the equipment testing service market. Shenkai Petroleum Technology has carried out logging equipment testing services since 2020. However, limited by testing qualifications, it could only rely on qualified units while failing to expand its business. The success of the CNAS accreditation marks that the hardware facilities, software conditions and testing capabilities of the testing center have reached the internationally recognized level, thereby laying a foundation for equipment testing services, enhancing customers' recognition of the Company's services and Shenkai's brand influence, and further sharpening its core competitive edge in the market.
