Recently, the Pengshen-6 well of PetroChina Southwest Oil & Gasfield Company, located in the Penglai gas area, Yanting County, Mianyang, was successfully drilled and cemented, reaching a depth of 9,026 meters and thereby setting a new record for the deepest vertical oil well in Asia. As a listed enterprise specializing in petroleum equipment R&D, manufacturing, sales and engineering technical services, Shenkai, with its well control equipment and mud logging instruments, has assisted in the successful drilling of the "Asia's deepest vertical well".

Recently, good news came from a shale gas project team in Southwest China, the first national shale gas demonstration zone, that Shenkai Measurement, with its professional service skills and high reliability of equipment, successfully completed part of the drilling parameter enhancement in this block and directional well condition service while drilling,achieved good results without failure and reasonable directional trajectory control throughout the whole process while drilling, shortened the construction period by one-third and accelerated the development of shale gas, which was highly praised by customers.

Another good news came to Shenkai Petroleum Technology that its testing center had successfully passed the audit of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and obtained the CNAS laboratory accreditation certificate, indicating that the center has internationally recognized testing capabilities and management level.

Shenkai's new generation of portable NMR logging instrument SKNM12, after completing the on-site nuclear magnetic logging service work of ??Southwest Oil & Gasfield in the Dazhou area of Sichuan and that of ??Qinghai Oilfield in the Ganchaigou area, had successively entered Xinjiang, Shaanxi, Hubei and other major exploration and development areas for large-scale application.

Recently, in the waters of the the Pearl River Mouth Basin, with the opening of the main and auxiliary regulators of the Christmas tree of well A1H on the “Haiji-1” platform, Asia’s first deepwater jacket platform has been officially and successfully put into operation, marking the successful opening of a new mode of oil and gas development for deepwater fixed platforms in China, which is of great significance to promote the increase of offshore oil and gas reserves and production, and to ensure national energy security.
